Typical Israeli hypocracy
From BBC web site:
Israel says it will not take part in a conference aimed at achieving a nuclear-arms free Middle East, proposed at a UN meeting in New York.
Nearly 200 nations, signatories of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), backed plans for the meeting in 2012.
In a document agreed at the talks, Israel was singled out for criticism.
Israel, which has not signed the NPT, dismissed the document as “deeply flawed” and “hypocritical”.
My comment:
The Apartheid Israeli government has broken all international rules of law and decency with the backing of the USA which has continually vetoed all attempts at peace in Middle East. It is the only country in the region which has nuclear weapons forcing other countries to potentially develop or at least develop means of their production as a defensive means against the theocratic country which is bent on conquest and expansion for their god given “lebensraum.”
The Israeli conventional arms are powerful enough to defend against any acts of aggression by their neighbors. They have won four wars (three preemptive acts of aggressive expansionism – and one where they were attacked) against the weak Arab regimes.
The only forces which have manged to resist Israeli aggression are the Islamic forces of Hezbollah and Hamass. One of the reason these can resist Israel is that they are not as corrupt as the other Arab forces and they provide social services for their population.
Now, let’s see why does Israel need nuclear weapons. They could not attack either of the above nemesises with nuclear bombs. The fallout would destroy their own country, so what is the purpose of these Israeli weapons of mass destruction?
What would be wrong with declaring the Middle East a nuclear free area of the world?
What is wrong with having peace?
