From the book of Joshua:

3-9: Joshua said to the Israelites, “Come here and listen to the words of the LORD your God. 10 This is how you will know that the living God is among you and that he will certainly drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites and Jebusites.

OK the local god of the genocidical tribe decides that they should invade land of others.

4-16: Joshua commanded the people, “Shout! For the LORD has given you the city! 17 The city and all that is in it are to be devoted  to the LORD. Only Rahab the prostitute  and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent. 18 But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. 19 All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the LORD and must go into his treasury.”

20 When the trumpets sounded, the people shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the people gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so every man charged straight in, and they took the city. 21 They devoted the city to the LORD and destroyed with the sword every living thing in it—men and women, young and old, cattle, sheep and donkeys.

Maybe the genocide of the men, women, and children by these foreign invaders was the norm for the day but killing the cattle, sheep and donkeys goes beyond even what Hitler did.

You know I was going to make a list of what these people glorify in their holy book but you can read about them here and here and many more places on the web. Just search for bible atrocities.

Let’s move to the last century – the list is legion and I’m giving a few examples:

July 22, 1946: Irgun Zvai Leumi terrorists, commanded by Menachem Begin, bombed the British office wing of Jerusalem’s King David Hotel, killing 91 people, 17 of them Jews. Among other Irgun terrorist actions was the bombing of the British Embassy in Rome.

Ethnic cleansing during formation of state of Israel:

• Qazaza: 19 December 1947
• Al-Sheikh Village: 1 January 1948
• Naser Al-Din: 13-14 April 1948
• Abu Shusha: 14 May 1948
• Beit Daras: 21 May 1948
• Tantura: May 22-23, 1948
• Dahmash Mosque: 11 July 1948
• Dawayma: 29 October 1948

In 1967 on the fourth day of the Six Day War,the armed forces of Israel attacked the American intelligence ship USS Liberty for 90 minutes in international waters in broad daylight following several hours of close,low-level reconnaissance. Thirty-four US Navy sailors died, 171 were hurt, and the ship was so badly damaged that it had to be scrapped.

The government of Israel has lied about the circumstances ever since,telling a story markedly different from that told by American survivors. Congress, under the total influence of AIPAC has refused to question Israel’s demonstrably false account, even though the State Department’s own analysis finds the Israeli story to be untrue.

In September 1982, Israeli forces stormed west Beirut after pro-Israeli Quisling Christian leader Bashir Gemayel, who days earlier had been elected president, was assassinated. Israeli troops ringing the Palestinian refugee camps of Sabra and Shatila allowed revenge-seeking Christian militiamen into the shantytowns. Hundreds of civilian refugees were slaughtered and Israel was widely condemned.

Successive invasions and acts of aggression against bordering countries including the preemptive attack on Egypt and Syria in 1967, Lebanon in 1981, 2006, and so on.

Back to their holy book:

1 Chronicles 20-3: And he ([tag]King David[tag] their great hero) brought out the people that [were] in it, and cut [them] with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon.

Samuel 2 8-13: So David made a name for himself when he returned from killing 18,000 Arameans in the Valley of Salt.
