Stop all weapons going to Mid East

Prime Minister Gordon Brown has offered British naval resources to help monitor events in the Gaza conflict and stop weapons being smuggled in.
He wants to help ensure protection and monitoring of the crossings into Gaza.
Mr Brown said: “I’m more hopeful that there will be a ceasefire. We will do everything we can to prevent the arms trading at the root of the problems.”
My comment: would it not be better to stop all weapons going to the Middle East rather than stopping the victims from being able to defend themselves. This is like the Saudi Arabians jailing raped women for committing adultery.
I reiterate:
Killing any civilian is a war crime punishable by life imprisonment without parole.
Use of white phospherous on civilians is a war crime punishable by life imprisonment without parole.
Collective punishment is a war crime punishable by life imprisonment without parole.
Governments which aid and abet war criminals and state terrorist nations are themselves war criminals and state terrorists.
You do not fight state terrorists by committing acts of terror yourself.
Non-violence is the answer.
