Apologies to Hitler
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Seven former heads of the CIA on Friday urged President Barack Obama in a letter to end the probe into allegations of abuse of prisoners held by the agency, arguing that it would hamper intelligence operations….
The letter to Obama was signed by three CIA directors under President George W. Bush — Michael Hayden, Porter Goss and George Tenet — as well as by John Deutch, James Woolsey, William Webster and James Schlesinger, who dates to the Nixon administration.
So now we are saying that war crimes are OK and it is OK to abuse prisoners and break every rule of human decency, so long as we do it. We are showing that the Nuremberg trials were just a sham and only victors justice. Our people can torture and claim it was OK since they were told to do so. And our leaders are beyond the law as they are “honorable men.”
We executed Japanese prisoners of war for war crimes for having water boarded our soldiers but now we don’t even have the guts to have a truth commission to discover what went wrong. We give permission to anyone to torture our soldiers. We are (if these agents of hate and torture and death and destruction – the CIA chiefs – get their way) to become the terrorists.
We are to become the outlaws….
We are to apologize to Hitler as we now mirror him (in only a small way – but once we say laws and decency do not apply to us where do we stop).
Actually I prefer my way. Let’s stop this evil socialistic organization (the whole of defense department including the KGB – oops Freudian slip – I mean the CIA which has caused the deaths of thousands more than USAma Bin Laden could ever dream of murdering).
